Vic Shuttee, is one sexually-attractive young comedian currently attending the University of Houston as a Playwrighting Major.
As a playwright: Vic has penned three one-act plays (“God Awful”, “Second Banana” and “I Now Pronounce You”), one stage adaptation (“Cavender Is Coming”), and a musical (“Welfare: The Musical!). His most celebrated play, “God Awful” was awarded “TETA Playfest” Award (2010), and later, Shuttee was named a NFAA YoungArts Winner for the show’s writing (2011).
As a performer: Vic competed at UIL One-Act Play State (2011), UIL Prose and Poetry State (2011), Texas Forensics State (2011), and was cast in the first Texas Thespians All-State Show, directed by Luis Munoz and Dennis Maganza (Our Town, 2010).
More recently, Shuttee has written, produced and will star in a sketch comedy album for release in the fall of 2011 (“Dignity (Optional)”). This collaboration features an all-star cast of actors, musicians and designers, including Tommy Waas (published playwright), Jon Cozart (YouTube Personality), Noel Yuri-Bermudez (Outsourced, Rules of Engagement) and Caroline Shumate (Lone Star Emmy Award recipient).
Vic has always the loved the world of improvisation, and was hired by the American Payroll Association to develop their annual convention’s entertainment. Vic has recently begun developing a stand-up routine and plans to begin performing in the fall.
Shuttee currently resides in Houston, TX and is interested
in a career as a television writer.
